Parents Get Bullied On Social media Too

Cyberbullying is a huge problem among kids, however, many people don't recognize that parents could possibly receive cyberbullied also. Social networking bullies often target parents that are seeking advice or seeking to make friends. Facebook parenting groups are renowned to be cliquish and unwelcoming to parents who combine. And it's not only a surprise that most parents are demonstrating bad behaviour online. Various studies have shown that people feel permitted to be mean or cruel on the web in a sense that they would not inperson. Children pick up on this and eventually become bullies themselves when they hear parents talk about how they intimidate the others online.

I Was A Victim

I had been a victim of online mom bullying once I combined a local parent's face book group. A fellow member in the band asked a question about a school event and has been immediately designated for torment by the others in the group. As soon as I defended the newest mother the group turned on me. Needless to say, I am an adult, so I was better equipped to handle the bullying compared to a kid would be. But it was still very upsetting and frightening.

Absolutely no Individual deserves to be bullied

Subsequent to one other moms in the group chose to create my own life as difficult as possible they started sending me hundreds of messages and annoys me. One kept telling me to kill myself as my children will be better off without me. As fast as I would block them they would generate new dummy reports and message me . And on facebook, you cannot block strangers by sending you messages.

The Bullies Gain Strength

They began texting everyone on my Facebook friends list saying terrible things about me. And they phoned my supervisor and also tried to make me fired. They almost did catch me fired. My boss said to maintain my own personal issues from their workplace because he was angry that they were emailing and calling constantly. They even had their kids harass my kids at school. It was terrible. And while it was very upsetting for me as an adult I can't even imagine how difficult it is for a child to deal with that type of behaviour.

We teach our children to not frighten, why not we do exactly the very same? What You Could Perform

You're not responsible for people bullying you and you are not responsible for the actions of others. If you're being bullied on social networking accounts your bullies and prevent them. Maintain a record of every message and every incident so that you can report them in the town where you live. Also, check out Kiwi Searches should they've done something like this before. But there are also some way to protect yourself on the Web to stop any severe effects if you do get bullied like:

Don't list your employer openly in your own profile. This only tells people how to harass you even further.

Don't set your own address or any personal information openly on your profile. Be certain that all of your security settings have been locked down tight.
